How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: Delete Local App Data (Immediate)

You can delete all local data stored on your device immediately:

  1. Open the One Percent Better app

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Scroll to the Data Management section

  4. Tap "Clear All Data"

  5. Confirm the deletion

What gets deleted:

  • All tasks you've created

  • All completion records

  • All statistics and streak data

  • All app settings and preferences

  • Local cache of purchase entitlements

Note: This action cannot be undone. All data will be permanently deleted from your device.

Option 2: Request Deletion of Purchase/Transaction Data

To request deletion of purchase and transaction data stored by our third-party service provider (RevenueCat):

  1. Send an email to contact@sipsoftware.org

  2. Include the following information:

    • Subject line: "Data Deletion Request - One Percent Better"

    • Your device's platform (iOS or Android)

    • The email address associated with your App Store/Play Store account (if available)

    • Confirmation that you want your purchase data deleted

  3. We will process your request within 30 days and request of the deletion of your data from RevenueCat's systems.

What gets deleted:

  • Purchase transaction records

  • Subscription status information

  • Entitlement verification data

  • Anonymous app user ID associated with purchases

What is kept (required by law):

  • Transaction records required for tax/accounting purposes may be retained as required by applicable law

  • Apple App Store and Google Play Store maintain their own purchase records (contact them directly for deletion)

Data Retention Periods

Local App Data

  • Retention: Stored on your device until you delete it

  • Deletion: Immediate when you use "Clear All Data" or uninstall the app

Purchase/Transaction Data (RevenueCat)

  • Retention: Until you request deletion

  • Deletion: Within 30 days of your request

  • Legal Retention: Some transaction data may be retained as required by law (typically 7 years for accounting/tax purposes)

Third-Party Data

  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Contact Apple or Google directly for deletion of their purchase records

  • Payment Information: We never receive or store payment details. All payment data is handled by Apple/Google.

Additional Information

  • No Account Required: Our app does not require user accounts. All local data is device-specific.

  • Privacy-First Design: Most of your data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers.
